Meeting Overview
There is a weekly meeting of the MODEST workshop in Second Life. If you don't already have a Second Life account, a basic account is free. Register for one at their website. Also, if you are new to Second Life, be sure to keep up with what is going on in astrophysics there through MICA, the Meta-Institute of Computational Astrophysics.
The MODEST workshops were formerly known as the "micasim" or the MICA N-body workshops. They meet on Tuesdays at 7AM SLT (pacific time), which is 15:00UT. They meet at the Main MICA building, Lower Auditorium in Second Life.
See MODEST People in SL for a list of names and affiliations that go along with those Second Life names. In addition, we have created several "MICA Realnames" groups that allow you to have your real name floating over your head above your avatar name where your group tag goes; contact Rob Knop (Prospero Frobozz in SL) if you have questions about this.
